About Us

Deborah is a highly experienced HR expert who specialises in learning & development, talent management, organisation design & change leadership.

She began her career in the car industry before moving to John Lewis Partnership in 2002. Managing two of the largest branches, she inspired her teams to great performance by engaging them in the business and developing their skills. In 2011 she became the Head of Talent Management and Organisational Effectiveness functions, ensuring the Partnership had the capabilities needed to deliver the strategy and a healthy pipeline of talent.

Deborah Strazza

Passionate about leadership and people management Deborah designs & delivers future workforce plans, change programmes, and leadership development.


In her career she has experienced and delivered a number of change programmes and firmly believes change can be positive. With the right leadership, communication and support people will grow.


In 2019 she set up Galyna HR and has worked with clients from Retail, Energy, Education and Financial Services sectors. She designs and delivers commercial solutions to improve engagement and performance of the workforce. She loves to work with small and medium sized companies identifying future skills and the behaviours needed to deliver business growth. Improving the efficiency and productivity of teams as the business grows.


Deborah is a keen sports fan and cook, and also finds time to work with a number of schools as a trustee on the board of a multi academy trust.
